BARNEY'S DISPLAY [ARTWORK] X DENNIS MCNETT



Brooklyn-based artist Dennis McNetthas his brilliant work displayed in Barney's on Madison. The 50-foot displays will be showcased from now until July 12th. Some feel his work takes away from the overpriced pieces the mannequins are wearing [as if that's a bad thing] but the more normal citizens of the city feel it's awe-inspiring. McNett grew up in VA Beach during the 1970's and 80's. He moved to New York almost 10 years ago. He's been creating his block print carving for over 18 years and has been inspired by his blind grandfather's motivation and the "raw high-energy imagery of the early 80's skateboard & punk rock scene."
